We exist for people navigating chronic illness, chronic pain, disability, recovery, caregiving, and the many invisible challenges that life can bring. Whether your harder days are occasional or part of your everyday, we hope you find a little comfort here.

Hi! I’m Azzy, founder of Ìdẹ̀ra by Azzy.
I live with sickle cell disease and chronic pain. My reality includes moments of exhaustion, unpredictability, and the constant work of managing my capacity while still wanting to live fully.
One of the experiences that helped shape Ìdẹ̀ra happened on a flight. The rechargeable heat pad I relied on for comfort died, and with only a USB port available, I spent the rest of the trip charging it for a few minutes, wearing it for a few minutes, and repeating the cycle over and over again.
