About Us
I’m Azzy, founder of Ìdẹ̀ra by Azzy.
I live with sickle cell disease and chronic pain. My reality includes flares, fatigue, and the constant work of managing energy, while still wanting to live fully.
I’ll never forget a 4+ hour flight where my pain kept rising. My rechargeable heat pad died, and with only a USB port, I spent the whole flight charging it for a few minutes, wearing it for a few minutes, repeating the cycle just to cope. I was stressed, overwhelmed, and trying to self‑soothe quietly in my seat.
